In early February 2023, Navan launched the Ava automated virtual assistant, which uses generative AI. As of early May 2023, Ava is now being leveraged for a travel admin and CFO-focused dashboard that provides granular, custom analytics and opportunities for savings in travel spend. The GPT-powered chatbot now acts as a data analyst and insights guru for finance teams and travel programme managers, who can ask Ava everything from travel spend trends, to opportunities for savings, to granular carbon emissions details
